COVID-19: When Interventions Extremely Depart From Nature - Time to Shift from the Modern Medical Intervention Approaches to the more Humane-Inclined Natural Approaches

Where are  recommended intervention measures against COVID-19 coming from and are they science-based? Are they helpful at all, or maybe aren’t they actually an added burden to the problem? To get a better understanding of where I am coming from regarding these concerns of the current extremely unnatural, inconvenient and often distressful intervention measures against COVID-19, I present here a disturbing account of my encounter with one of such intervention measures, and highlight the importance of advocating for more naturally oriented intervention approaches. First enjoy watching this 2 minute video showing wild animals in their classic natural habitat.

It was this other day when I went to top up gas in my car at a nearby service station. For an in-store prepaid gas-pump arrangement, I offered a $20.00 bill to the store attendant, which I placed on the counter, of course through a small window of a plastic glass sheet separating the two of us. To my surprise, the the store attendant asked me to pick up the $20.00 bill and drop it in a small rectangular glass container with some kind of liquid in it (which turned out to be a sanitizer). Of course the small container had a lid, and as I awaited a print out of my receipt, I watched the $20.00 bill float on top of the sanitizer, and observed the store attendant as he used something to immerse the bill, then scoop it out for drying, When I got out of the store, I felt some irritating sensation on my eyes, in the nostrils and throat, triggering sneezing. At first I thought it was some form of allergy, but later I realized it must have been irritation from the sanitizer.

Oh gosh! Is this the new normal for fighting infectious diseases? The sure answer is no. Natural approaches to fight both infectious and noninfectious diseases could serve a better purpose than these current modern medical / biomedical approached. Two main issues I found to be disturbing or of concern to my encounter with the wired intervention approaches to counter the spread of coronavirus were that of:
i) the potential to stigmatize customers as possible virus spreaders who would introduce the virus apparently to the supposedly virus free store, and all these assertions being based on expert advice generated from spurious and/or unfounded scientific assumptions,
ii). the intervention can play  a health risk hazard role, in my situation I left the store distressed, sneezing, with irritation of the upper respiratory system and eye mucosal surfaces.
It is unfortunate that the current worldwide dominating modern medical or health institutions, establishments or systems, do not support or promote use of alternative natural intervention measures. To a greater extend, these establishments actually go as far as discouraging use of natural approaches, identifying them as unscientific.

Assertions that natural health approaches are unscientific and therefore ineffective in fighting disease and maintaining health are  unfortunate and misleading.  In one of my previous posts, I presented an argument which demonstrates that natural health approaches (typically equivalent to primal health-related lifestyle - as manifested in wild animals in their natural habitat) are the real deal in health protection, health maintenance, health promotion and optimal health, as compared to the modern medical model approaches. A brief overview of the two distinct health models (classic modern medical model and the natural health model approaches), titled “Taking Charge of Our Own Health - Practical and Achievable”, is provided on this blog under the label “Taking Charge of Our Own Health.” Often times, when I talk of natural health approaches, as exemplified by that of wild animals living in their  natural habitat, many people are unlikely to get a sense of what I mean by "the way of animals in their natural habitat." A classic example of wild animals in their natural habitat is presented in the video above and emphasizes the element of naturalness (i.e., no health care, no doctors or veterinarians, no prescription drugs, no immunizations and living on ancestral diet). If you were to observe such animals in their natural environment, you could hardly see any signs of discomfort or hear any sounds of distress (i.e. coughing, sneezing, etc.).

Food for thought.
